Best Lomo cameras

This low tech brand has expanded over the years and now includes many models that are popular with retro photography enthusiasts and artists alike. Analogue rather than digital, most models are designed to provide a single photographic effect, such as the Fisheye that produces distorted images that look like they have been taken through a peephole. We stock a wide range of products from this innovative brand and some of the more popular are the Spinner, which allows you to take 360° panoramic shots and the Diana, which is known for its saturated colours and random blurring.

Lomo cameras are ideal if you are looking for a tool that will allow you to take unique pictures without having to think too much. With no need for post processing using expensive software and the thrill of using traditional film, it is easy to see why so many people are choosing them.

Making a splash

The ColorSplash model features a wheel that allows you to select various different colours for the integrated flash, providing interesting splashes of colour (hence the name) when taking pictures. You can use the flash to add a tint to daylight photographs or at night to create wild and wonderful effects. Without a Lomo digital cameras could be used to take ordinary shots that can then be touched up using popular imaging software but this removes the spontaneity that is the hallmark of most good Lomography pictures. Many people find that by removing the need to think about different exposures, scenes, focal lengths and other settings that are common to more expensive models, they are able to release their creativity and take some really exciting photographs. The different films that can be purchased give you the ability to create interesting effects that, if they were digital Lomo cameras would not offer.
